Our Fav Makeup

We love trying new makeup to find our favorite products. Not to mention, Sephora's return policy is fab, allowing you to test products at home and return them if you're not satisfied. In case you care, here's what's always in our makeup bags.

Riann's favs (dry skin & matte finish)

Even though I have dry skin, I still prefer when my makeup has a matte finish so I can control the shine on my face. I try to avoid products with any kind of shimmer or glossy finish (except highlighter lol). A lot of my product recs are from the drugstore I've found that they work just as well as the expensive stuff.

1. Primer: Algenist Sublime Defense or Supergoop Smooth & Poreless Matte

2. Foundation: Maybelline Dream Velvet Soft-Matte Hydrating Foundation in Classic Ivory. This is my favorite foundation ever and goes on so smoothly. It's not typically sold in drugstores, so I order on Amazon.

3. Concealer: Maybelline's coverstick and NARS radiant creamy concealer

4. Bronzer: Bobbi Brown in Golden Light

5. Highlighter: Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop

6. Eyebrows: Revlon ColorStay in dark brown and Sephora clear brow gel

7. Eyeliner: Revlon ColorStay

8. Mascara: Benefit Roller Lash (good for an everyday, natural look on shorter lashes)

9. Eyeshadow: I'll use just bronzer for daytime and the NARSissit palette for nighttime neutrals. For fun events, I use NYX palettes for pops of color & these self-adhesive face gems from Amazon.

10. Lip liner: Maybelline in Dusty Rose

11. Lipstick/gloss: Smith & Cult in any light shade -- it's super hydrating without being sticky!

12. Setting spray: NYX in Matte (if I'm in a pinch, I'll use hairspray for extra-long wear -- but don't recommend for everyday lol)

2. Foundation: Laura Mercier Smooth Finish Powder in 1c1 03

3. Concealer: NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Chantilly

4. Bronzer: Hoola Matte Bronzer in Hoola color

5. Eyebrows: Anastasia Brow Wiz in Blonde

6. Mascara: Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara

7. Eyeliner: Sephora waterproof eyeliner in shimmering bright olive

8. Eyeshadow: Anastasia Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette

9. Lip liner: Maybelline in Dusty Rose

10. Lipstick/gloss: Chapstick!
